Hey. I haven't been here in a while. I got used to my palm now, I can use it well, and I got used to Opie, GPE and Openmoko. I can modify stuff in them, etc. I googled and went to ALP's website but I can't find a release date. I am not sure if it will be compatible with the TX...but I am sure...the hackers will find a way to make it work on the TX(and maybe others). When is it coming out(alpha, beta and final release) and will it be free(it is linux...so I hope it is free)

My personal thought about
My personal thought about ALP is that we will never see it. Palm best times are gone, and WinCE is the current market leader.
FUCK wince. I still hope for

ALP is proprietary and closed. Of course, you can hope that hackers will hack it and somehow port to models other than initially provided, but really, this is the same as hope that someone will port classical PalmOS to Linux.
