Linux on Tungsten | T with a SD card

Hello
I tried to install Linux on a Tungsten | T with a SD card. I tried two methods: 1. with Garux and TTBootkit, making two partitions on my SD card (resp. vfat & ext2); 2. the same with Cocoboot instead of Garux.
It didn't succeed: in both cases, I got a kernel panic: something like: can't find root fs.
I understood that nothing works with a SD card in the case of a Tungsten | T, and that I should buy a MMC card. Is this true? Before buying it, I want a confirmation.
Thanks for answering and for the great job you all, and marex in particular, are doing.

Hello,
I have the same problem with my Tungsten T.
Will this card works: http://www.offtek.fr/item_detail.php?id=429240&maincat=1&subcat=56 ?
Thanks.
Palm Tungsten T doesn't like
Palm Tungsten T doesn't like cards more than 1 GB, in my experience. Problems happen.
I'm working on this as well.... it doesn't like SD cards. I hate that. SD is used more than MMC I'm pretty sure.
Does Palm Tungsten T like
Does Palm Tungsten T like MMC Plus (1 Go) ?
I want to be sure before buy a MMC Plus card
On Palm OS I use SD card and it's work fine ...
am I supposed to buy it and
am I supposed to buy it and test it before ? how should I know ...
Actually I think I am
Actually I think I am mistaken about that 1 GB thing... I had an error in TCPMP once when i tried a 2 gb card.... it seems to work actually. Sorry about that!
