Enfora Wifi with treo 650 running Deb

Has anyone had any luck setting up wifi with an Enfora adapter on a treo running Alex's kernel? I've been trying to get this working through the b43 drivers, but I can't even seem to get Deb to recognize that there is a device connected...

Well, I have found this

Well, I have found this device on treocentral e-shop, it seems that it is connected through USB or serial - if it is USB, it has to be powered up from serial port like alex did or something even weirder. Try to power up serial port, enable usb host and recheck.
Sorry, I don't know this HW...

The device has it's own

The device has it's own power supply, so it prolly doesn't need to be powered up. To enable USB host do I need to compile my own kernel with usb host enabled? I just used the rootfs from the 650 Deb howto.

Or do you mean select "USB console" before booting in cocoboot?

Hmmm, I don't know what

Hmmm, I don't know what features are compiled into your kernel. If lsusb has empty output, than you probably don't have USB host support compiled inside. If there are listed hubs, you have it.

lsusb has no output - I've

lsusb has no output - I've tried compiling a kernel in the past with little success, do you have any good recommendations on where to learn how to compile a kernel for myself?

Whoops!!! Deny that request, I guess the last time I tried to build it I was just being a moron...
