Legacy source tree broken?

I just tried to clone the legacy tree and this is what happened:

$ git clone git://git.hackndev.com/hackndev/legacy/linux-2.6.git
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/person/Desktop/hndGIT/linux-2.6/.git/
remote: fatal: Out of memory, realloc failed
remote: aborting due to possible repository corruption on the remote side.
fatal: early EOF

I had the same problem

I had the same problem recently.

Yea, any hopes of fixing

Yea, any hopes of fixing this? I accidentally deleted a relatively recent version of a clone of this directory, and I need it to build some stuff that I want to toy around with. If anyone has a recent copy of this (please?!) post a link to it. I'd greatly appreciate it!

Huh, seems to be working if

Huh, seems to be working if you go to the linux-2.6 tree and click "snapshot".

Still can't get it to work with git clone though.

That tree contains just some

That tree contains just some old garbage anyway ... use arm-linux kernel tree

Marex - do you mean the

Marex - do you mean the linux-hnd tree? The only kernel trees in that dir are the linux-2.6 and the linux-hnd... If so it looks like that one has less stuff for the treo-650, which is what I'm interested in.

Hm, sleepwalker said he's

Hm, sleepwalker said he's working on T650 ... and no, I mean arm.linux.org.uk tree

Nice - I will put this to

Nice - I will put this to good use :-)

Are you interested in use or

Are you interested in use or development of Treo 650?

Well, both - development so

Well, both - development so that I can get the hardware to work that I need to use, and use so that I can develop software on my Treo when I'm bored :)

So where does main treo's

So where does main treo's development take place?
I have treo700p. The treo650 kernel configuration (compiled from legacy/linux-2.6) runs fine on it as long as you provide it 650's hardware id in cocoboot. The only problem I found so far is that few buttons on keypad are in the wrong order. So I wanted to create new configuration for 700p and fix buttons there. However, arm-linux.uk kernel doesn't have even 650's support in it.

Treo650 is not prepared for

Treo650 is not prepared for upstream yet, I'll do it soon, but now Centro and Treo 755p have precedence. You can try Treo 650 code from some old tree. I got some Treo700p GPIO logs and when I'll finish 755p and Centro, I'll try to create some kernel to test.
